Hi Elizabeth! This isn’t our recipe–it comes from Talia Ho!

I feel like I wasted a lot of ingredients for it to overflow (did place a pan beneath) and ruin the streusel top. Because the streusel top is butter and it overflows, this is a potential big mess and hazard. There was also too much streusel for the pan size and not enough butter for a good streusel. Was more of a powder topping than proper streusel.

Not a cheap recipe for it to go so awry. If it were revised thoughtfully, I’d love to attempt again!

Tasted great and followed the recipe and baking times exactly. Added a drizzle of ganache on top and some semisweet chocolate chips in the batter too, because why not? Great recipe!

If you click on the button at the top of the recipe card to switch to metric it will give you the ingredients in grams!

Yes–I think it would! I’ve never personally tried it, but I think it would bake up just fine! The only thing I will say is that it is definitely a dense, pound cake texture so I wouldn’t do too many layer because it will just be heavy!
