Definitely want to try as written sometime also.

It was amazing. She was bare but beautiful and tasted delicious. Shared with the in-laws and they suggested it should be a new fave. Definitely will be making again.

Thank you for your recipes. Huge fan.

Is there a particular brand of earl grey tea you recommend?
Also, do you add loose leaf tea in the batter?
Thanks
Tahera

Hi Lina! you can just omit the honey! Instead of doing a honey drizzle you could top with flowers or berries!

It turned out so beautifully! It was tricky to get the buttermilk heated to just warm enough to steep the tea but not too hot that it curdled, but it worked on the second try. Lovely cake!

I can eat the cake and frosting, but I can’t do the drizzle on top. Is there a possible substitute for that drizzle?

Hi Joy! I haven’t tried that personally in this cake so I’m not positive it would work! I think it would make cake much denser (but sometimes that’s tasty hehe). If you try it let us know how it goes. It makes me so happy to hear you’re loving our recipes 🙂 Enjoy xx

Hi Chun! There are about 2 grams of tea in each bag!

I made This already with eggs and want to make a second but I’m out of eggs. Your recipes are always so clean and easy, you have really made baking something as casual as cooking for me. Fabulous recipe!
