The spice blend and texture are perfection and like my other favorites (blueberry streusel muffins) they have just the right amount of sweetness. I also browned the butter for the streusel and holy sh*t, it’s next level. I didn’t make the glaze after trying one because I felt they were already so good! Absolutely make these if you’re craving a fall treat! I’ve already sent this recipe to ten people.

The thing I love about Sarah’s muffin recipes is she is able to strike the perfect balance of texture (deliciously moist) and sweetness (not too sweet). Everyone who tasted these muffins raved about them which really boosted my baking confidence. They’re perfect for fall and will make your home smell amazing! Mine turn out best when I use King Arthur All Purpose flour so I highly recommend using that.

I used it as a mini muffin recipe. I did not make the struesel or the glaze because these are just for me and my toddlers at home. I DID add 3 chocolate chunks to each muffin on about half of the muffins and YUM! I did 375 degrees for 12 minutes. I also substituted with Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free flour and almond milk instead of regular milk.
