The kids couldn’t get enough of them, and the adults also snuck back for a second bar 🙂 My 10-year-old nephew wants to make them with me next time, although they were so easy that I doubt he’ll need my help. A real winner! Thank you!

Hi Jen! You can but they tend to bleed a little more!

This is my first time making these, but not my first Broma recipe. I chose these because I didn’t have softened butter, & I knew I could melt the butter on the stove in less than 5 minutes. These are SO good! So easy, so delicious. Mine have only cooled for 15, & I just know they’ll even be more delicious once they cool more. Oh my god. I know they’ll be in regular rotation. I added a little bit of almond extract because that’s a personal favorite ingredient. I’d love to try them with browned butter next! Thanks for the pick me up, Broma!

These are so easy and everyone loved them at the Super Bowl party. It’s crazy to me that so many people are intimidated by baking one recipes like these exist.

I just made a variation you might want to try… instead of sprinkles, I added white chocolate chips and crushed freeze dried strawberries, a little almond extract too. Could you try these and make them better??

That’s so strange! I’ve never experienced that! Did the batter seem split before you baked it off?

Did I not mix the batter well enough?

Hi Kinnari! Yes–these freeze super well! Make them as directed and then let them cool completely! After they are cooled, slice the bars and then place them in a freezer safe plastic bag or air tight container and freeze. When you want to eat them, simply take them out of the freezer and let them thaw out on the counter for a few hours!
