Fabulous dough – perfect start for many different kinds of rollls. I think next time I’d skip the almond in the frosting… Personal preference but I thought it was too almondy. But these rolls are fantastic. I let them rise the second time and then put them in the fridge overnight. I left them on the counter for an hour before baking.

So delicious the texture of these buns turned out to be so light and airy. I added 1/2 tsp of almond and vanilla extract to the dough recipe although not listed in the ingredients but was mentioned in the directions. Instructions were spot on. Would definitely be making these again. If you love a bun that is not overly sweet then this recipe is for you.

Usually I leave my cinnamon rolls in the fridge overnight for the second rise. Then pull out 45 min before baking. Would this work for this dough?
